In early 2018, The Legal Beagle was contacted by Andre Venturing regarding a web design project for his new start-up in Intellectual Property. Based on the client’s instructions, we started creating content focused on an international audience. Our Partners, The Creative Donut, were brought in and asked to undertake web design and development of the companies website.
Venturini IP is a modern boutique IP consultancy, based in Rio de Janeiro, handling all aspects of patent work in Brazil. They are considered tech-passionates, with a strong patent background, eager to get to the point. Their goal is giving the best service and a strong return on investment.
Our goal was to create a modern and fresh looking website that was complimented by simple text. As a lawyer, I had already noticed how websites in the area of law often use boring colour schemes and over particular text.
We asked ourselves: what would an international client be looking for from a start-up in the area of patents and intellectual property and how we could we help set Andre apart?
We believe the answer lies in one word – ‘Communication’. Our goal was to create a website that was simple in language, clearly explaining our client’s specialist services and emphasising the flexibility of his approach to the IP market.
The layout we designed for the website focuses on highlighting the services offered and Andre’s expertise. The color palette reflects the branding, which we recreated for the headers of each page. We also chose a video header of turning cogs to represent the scientific and mechanical nature of Venturini IP’s clients.
The underlying criteria for the site was that it was to be modern, attention grabbing and (most importantly) not overly corporate. The Brazilian market for web design is already saturated with mountains of dry information and 20-year-old design concepts. This is not what Venturini IP represents!
The client was very happy with the website. It’s modern, sleek and highlights the services they provide in a manner that doesn’t overpower the visitor with technical terms. See for yourself 🙂 – www.venturini-ip.com
What our client had to say about us:
“I worked with Julian and Sam from conception to finalisation of my company’s website. Their professionalism and ability achieved results far beyond my expectations. In such a poor national market of qualified professionals, Julian and Sam are certainly the exception. I definitely recommend them to those who need help in building websites and writing institutional texts.”
